State Customs Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz
Republic (SCS), which is Implementing Agency, has conducted the selection of a
consultancy company for development of software for UAIS.
Selection was conducted based on Quality and Cost Based
Selection Method (QCBS). The long list was consisted of 15 companies. After
evaluation of Expressions of Interest, there was formed a short list from the
following five consulting companies:

Thus, according to the results of evaluation of Proposals of
companies, association S&T AG – Аkforta –
ERP Kazakhstan has become the first ranked.
The contract negotiations took place during the period from
December 7, 2009 to December 16, 2009. In the result there was signed a contract
with successful association S&T AG – Аkforta – ERP
Kazakhstan for total amount of 1 694,930 USD. The subject of the contract is
development of software for the Unified Automated
Information System of Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic. The works within
the given contract will start on January 11, 2010 and should be completed by May
31, 2011.
