Chapter 49. Maintaining customs
statistics
Article 352. Customs Statistics of Foreign Trade
1. For purposes of providing Jogorku
Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Government
of the Kyrgyz Republic and other state bodies established by legislation of
the Kyrgyz Republic with information on the condition of foreign trade of the
Kyrgyz Republic, control over making customs payments to the State budget, currency
control, analysis of the condition, dynamics and tendencies of foreign trade
of the Kyrgyz Republic, its trade balance and economy in general, the customs
bodies shall gather and process data on conveyance of goods through the customs
border, also shall provide data of the customs statistics. The authorized state
body shall provide data of the customs statistics to international organizations
according to international agreements and legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The authorized state body
shall publish the data of the customs statistics of foreign trade.
2. The customs statistics of foreign
trade of the Kyrgyz Republic shall be maintained in compliance with this Code and other
normative legal acts of the Kyrgyz Republic.
3. The customs statistics of foreign
trade shall be maintained according to the methods providing the possibility
to compare data of mutual trade of the Kyrgyz
Republic and its foreign trade partners. Compilation
of detailed (at least 8-digit code of the Goods Nomenclature of Foreign Trade)
and accurate summaries of statistical data on foreign trade activity shall be
an important function of the customs bodies. Monthly and annual reports on imports
and exports shall be provided to the Government and Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz
Republic and should be published for the public no
later than one month after the appropriate period. In compliance with Chapter
50 of this Code, application of information technology should be maximally possible.
Article 353. Special Customs Statistics
For purposes to execute the tasks
delegated to customs bodies, such bodies shall maintain special customs statistics
in accordance with the procedure established by the authorized state body.
Article 354. Documents and Information, Used for Statistics
Purposes
Documents
and information for statistical purposes shall be provided in compliance with
provisions of this Code on the procedure of customs clearance and customs control. |
